Call for Papers:

The Section on Environmental Protection and Sustainability  and the Loss Prevention Working Party organise a joint one-day Symposium on

Balancing Safety and Environmental Targets in Industry

during the CHISA Conference 2008

We invite authors to submit their paper on that subject, comprising e.g.

• Technical examples of conflicting E and S targets and their solution
  
• Methods/Concepts/Organisational aspects of decision making in case of such conflicts
  
• Case Studies/ Practical Solutions
  
• Education on Integrated Approaches (teaching to consider both E and S)
  
• Impact of legislation

Abstracts should be submitted until November 30th, 2007 to the CHISA 2008 organisers
