Procedure for Awards

 

  1. List of Awards given by the Working Party has to be accepted.
  2. Nominations for the following awards can be suggested by any Member of the Working Party:
    • Helmut Krämer Award and Memorial Lecture
    • Stig Lundquist Award
    • International Fellow Award
    • Günter Lüttgens International Fellow Award
  3. Members of the Working Party will be invited to submit candidate nominations for the awards. Nominations have to be sent to the Working Party Chair before, or at the last Working Party Meeting before the International Conference.
  4. Nominations gathered will be decided during the last Working Party Meeting before the International Conference. A two-thirds (2/3) majority is needed for approval.
  5. Four months prior to the International Conference the Working Party Chair will inform the Awardees and request acceptance of the award and determination if they will attend the International Conference.
  6. Günter Lüttgens Young Scientist Award will be announced at the beginning of the International Conference. The decision will be taken by the Chair, Secretary and the Members of the Working Party. The final decision has to be fixed just before the closing ceremony.
  7. Young Scientist Awards will be delivered at the Closing Ceremony of the International Conference.
